Mark my words!! ...bushco would NEVER hand authority and Falluja to former Saddam generals ....this is just so that our soldiers can pull back to a safe distance so that bush can order MOABS to be dropped on Faluja :(

1. Everything in Bush WH is a political move
and being an election year, they figured that Michael Jackson and Kobe would be a larger distraction if they surrendered Fallujah to Saddam instead of invading it.

The sheep will barely notice this MAJOR shift.

This is a fig leaf for withdrawal.
Too many casualties, zero progress.
You are correct that the Iraqis would
do well to keep their guard up and their
powder dry, but I'm sure they know that
already.
