"Major" Combat ended was ADDED LATER by Media - Anniversary of fakery

Don't know if you all remember that the Media added the "Major" in "Major Combat Operations over" --

it was CHANGED ala White House site and DOD LATER --

On the One year anniversary of this Triple LIE I'm posting this PROOF..

Pass this around -- the Media is already PARROTING the remark and attributing it to BUSH when as far as I KNOW it was added LATER..

I would not leave to go to the mall store until after hearing Bush's address. It sickened me hearing the cheering and applause as Bush spoke--knowing that he had lied even before the war or before that day.

However, I personally remember Bush actually saying "major" combat operations had ended as I listened to the address live. And I pay close attention to every word that * utters or drools.

I don't want to give the man/chimp any more credit than he is due--but if he said it, then he said it. I think he said "major."

I didn't mention a link at all. I'm only stating my opinion and I think my position is pretty clear. And I'm not denying that they changed their website comments. I'm recalling what I heard. Did you actually listen to the address as I did?

Don't get me wrong, the Iraq war is a criminal obscenity; whether or not * said the word "major" seems somewhat irrelevant. I would interpret the 128 dead GIs this April alone in Iraq as pretty "major."

Just want to make sure we have the facts right before running with this. Anyone have access to an audio file of *'s actual 5/1/03 speech? That would be the final word. Literally.

I can't link to the UP release below, as I located it on Lexis-Nexis. It's dated April 30 -- the day **before** the PR stunt. Would the press have added the word "major" in advance of the speech? I would urge anyone who has access to Lex-Nex to do the same.

There has always been a dubious reading of history in the Bush administration, sort of like a History Channel documentary with lots of images and some quick analysis.

President George W. Bush Thursday will step to the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln to announce the end of "major combat operations" in Iraq as the giant aircraft carrier sails toward its home port of San Diego.

The plan has the ring of the public relations department. The Abraham Lincoln's aircraft opened hostilities against Iraq and somebody remembered the unconditional Japanese surrender that ended World War II was signed on the decks of the Battleship Missouri that had led the long march to Tokyo.

Like you, I don't really think this is an issue. Bush has lied about plenty more and to keep focusing on minutae minimizes the attention that should be placed on the more significant issues.

I created this exactly one year after the actual horror took place on 911. I found it absolutely impossible to believe that Bush would sit on his butt in a schoolroom KNOWING that one of the World Trade Center towers had been taken out by an airliner - and STILL sit there (even AFTER Andrew told him personall that the SECOND tower had been hit) and READ A BOOK ABOUT A GOAT FOR OVER A HALF AN HOUR.

Think about that. I've included all the information by the media that shows that he had FULL KNOWLEDGE of our country being under attack when he walked INTO that school (placing all those kids in danger - his whereabouts were well known - this was a planned photo op.

This flash may be disturbing to some people. It involves a split screen that shows Bush reading on the left while the buildings burn and poor souls are leaping to their death. The death that in my opinion was allowed to happen at a minimum and at a maximum shows utter incompetence by Bush, who as we have learned recently had MANY warnings in presidential briefs right up to the cataclysm. BUSH KNEW - AND DID NOTHING.

This flash was made possible by the use of actual footage made at the Booker Elementary school by local media that morning that shows CONCLUSIVELY that Bush SAT on a chair, looking mighty guilty to many of us.

The good news is, you don't have to futz around in the speech or wait for him to say it, it's right there at the beginning. Minimizes the pain of hearing Caligula enunciate.
