Hello All DUers Blaze DIem/liarliartieonfire is stopping by today to offer my 2 cents. I've missed you all and am currently dealing with some serious health issues. And YA Its Kicking My Behind!! But not enough to stop speaking Truth to Power. ....now about george bush...

My cynical take on this may seem extreme to some, but it just seems the entire charade of the Bush Presidency is a pre-scripted, flashy, power point Coorporate promo.

Drama is precisely inserted at the optimum moment.
"Shock & Awe", and the hundreds of catchy phrases identify every Bush mission, accomplished or not.

Too many curious questions blindsided by the blessed walls of the "Patriot Act".

I would like to believe that the threat risks we are being told to heed are NOT the nasty hand of the Rove machine, though who would have believed that the people of the United States would ever have elected corporate subversion of our government over genuine concern for our great Nation.
Never in a million years, I say.
But then George Bush was never elected of & by the people.

I do believe that George Bush's boardroom handlers will elect him AT ALL COST.
I hope in my heart and soul, however, that our Democratic processes have not been so greatly and secretly stolen from us while all eyes were on the detour of Iraq.
The Bush people are very adept at "slight of hand" you know.
So, where's Osama? What happened to our Nation's high tech protective forces on Sept 11? Why Iraq and not Iran, Syria, Pakistan or any other Arab nation with tyrants for leaders? Who close to GW Bush has their hands in the profitable shift of US, Congress approved dollars? Approved for the purpose of managing a war that never should have happened. A Corporate power grab. War profiteers cannot profit without a War can they?
What did Bush mean by the statement "I've Hit The Trifecta?"
Most of us know what he meant. Lucky, lucky George.

Is there any question why some now doubt the latest warning as legitimate. Ultimate control of the masses. Fear.

We have been led down that road before by Bush. He lied.
I hope and pray that the tyranny of G W Bush & Co. ends in Nov. but I do not believe for a second they will play by anyone's rules but their own.
They will never give up their power.
So what will it take to return our Nation's Presidency to a true American patriot like John Kerry, or anyone but Bush?
Frightening to think just how deep the corporate owned tentacles of GWBush really may be, and what it may take to free this Nation from it.
God Bless you all for standing up to the Bush illegitimacy. May our election process still exist, and may our Senate and Congress be returned to a two party system.

And I share a lot of your concerns. I have this feeling of anxiety all the damn time, like the other 9/11 shoe is about to drop. I fervently hope that you and I are both wrong, but I agree that these assholes will probably stop at nothing, commit any atrocity, to stay in power. Time shall tell, I suppose. Best wishes pardner.

The drama queen idea is great. A variation of this is, of course, the 'watch queen' subcategory. He creates the drama (executions, stolen elections, wars) and then watches. What's this guy ever done in his life...but watch.

Starts a fire, kills pets and people, rescuers or innocents. As the fire rages in the horror of night, there's George. Standing in the shadows, silent, hands shoved deep in the pockets of the favorite brown jacket. Just watching..a watching queen.
