She drives me nuts! She seems like a damn Republican shill. Always defending the Repug point of view. And tonight she's center-stage and shutting downt the real talent at AAR.
Earlier Rachel Maddow was going off about how great things look...generally being positive, and Katherine cuts her off to point out some damn Repug Senate victories. Later she cut someone else off who was discussing why Kerry would win, saying something like, "But the big question for everyone out there is 'Has Kerry won, yet?' and the answer is 'NO!!'" *annoying cackle*
I could go on and on with examples every damn day. Al should fire her ass.
She drives me nuts...I've been saying this from the first 5 minutes.

The "pro radio" person they hired to water down Al.
She goes out of her way to defend Repug POV. They do just fine on their own.

Please don't turn against Catherine Lanpher.
She is solidly on our side.
It's just that she's a realist, and tries to give a balanced view.

...have a personal knowledge of the host in question. Actually I'm not a talk radio listener, I can't stand the sound of self rightious windbags, of which I was one...
Did she support Bush?
Did she support many/most of the nefarious attacks on Kerry?
Did she promote an political ideology contrary to most DU'ers?
If so I would imagine that she and I would not "click" in the traditional term.

I haven't liked her since day one. I said so on DU and people thought I was nuts.
I love Al Franken, but unfortunately, I dont listen to his show because of her.
