Melt down?
Close race, huh! I still think we can win!

But to all of you DUers who were all over freepers about "melting down" this morning, perhaps you can learn a lesson. Or, perhaps you can't.

The lesson is that taunting is never right. Damn, when it looked like we were cruising today I saw a bunch of you throwing school-kid taunts at Americans who didn't believe as we believe, as if this was some kind of sandlot football game.

But, really, who is melting down now? When the battle becomes critical, when we can't tell who will win and who will lose, when it looks like we can lose, many of you have turned into a bunch of melted-down whiners. What do you suppose freepers are saying about us now? And more to the point, how does it feel? Does the Golden Rule apply? It should.

The kind of sophmoric clubhouse crap I've read here today won't ever help this country. In fact, it's part of the problem. Many of the posters here and many of the posters at Free Republic are really just two sides of the same immature coin. When I read Free Republic and compare the posts there with some of the posts here, I can't see much of a difference - same arguments, but different heroes.

Get a grip, everybody. The race ain't over and taunting your opposition, no matter how much you may think their policies and beliefs are hurting our nation, was and is counterproductive.

I've seen more maturity from my fifth graders.

1. Maturity is overrated.
Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.

3. It's true.
I've seen so many people here yelling "fire" in crowded theatre when the this thing is not over. Throw some cold water on your faces please!
