1. its crap. i mailed him and told him so. it is not "reality based"
the election was stolen. most of the premises he draws his conclusions from are invalid.

i told him to get on the damn ball already while it is fresh.

2. this election results are good for Moore.
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 09:10 AM by oc2002
now he can document the calapse of democracy to bigoted rednecks, and the rise of American Fascism.

just like Hitler used the Jews, Bush used the gays to stir hate and anger to get out the vote.

Kerry stood by his principles, even after Clinton warned him about it.

Clinton was politicaly correct, Kerry was moraly and ethicly right.

3. Not many people have made as much money off American tragedy
as Michael Moore. You're right.

and the list goes on.

Get a grip on reality.

I said "not many".

12. Not many my ass.
Of the "not many" perhaps you can tell us how many are exposing the lies and corruption of the Bush cartel?

Sorry, but people who are seeking to profit don't publicly tell the world it's okay to copy and distribute their work. . . or had you forgotten that?

20. You might, it does have that old familiar stench.
Michael Moore publicizes the fraud and failings of the Bush junta and that means he's profiting off misery.

Right-wing hacks publish books blaming Bush's failures on Clinton and nary a word.

It's a load of pig plop.

19. And don't forget doctors, lawyers and comedians.
They, too, profit on tragedy. Your argument is specious.

8. "Fahrenheit 9/11" has to get credit for jumpstarting the
anti-Bush groundswell. He's made a lot of money, yes, and lives in nice Upper West Side apt., but he's been using that money to make more films and go on the road to increase awareness of this admin's boatload of crimes! Give the guy credit for doing the right thing! (Unless it's unAmerican to make money anymore?)

21. I only resent the rich who act like they don't owe society anything
Most (if not all) rich Democrats realize that the best thing for society is to lift up the other classes, too. That is the best way for society to thrive.

Rich Republicans just don't think this way. They have a selfish, Ayn Rand type attitude, that they earned it all and they should keep it all and the hell with everyone else.

13. I don't understand this attitude.
We need people with progressive views to HAVE money that they can sink back into continuing to get the message out there, to reach people, to turn this country around, if there is even still time for that. If MM didn't make any money, he would not financially be able to continue his work.

And why am I even arguing the point? Never mind.

It comes from dividers & disrupters--most of whom are new here.

4. I really do think it's time to start looking around for a place
to accomodate a mass exodus. What does it matter anymore, anyway, since all the jobs will be outsourced.

23. I don't get you people.....
So many here seem to be jumping on the "blame MM bandwagon." Give me a break! I swear-some of you are so easily swayed. Talk about flip flopping. We are all upset about the election. MM is an ally, so let's not blame the ones trying to help us! :eyes:

9. Please stop blaming the election on MM!
We were all singing his praises and saying how great his film was and encouraging everyone to watch F911.. and then the election was stolen, and we need to find a scapegoat, and we blame it on him??

Puh-leeze....

25. Michael Moore was one of the FEW who had a set of balls
Why are people so quick to shoot our own when they demonstrate a set of balls. Howard Dean was another which the Democratic Party abandoned because he was aggressive.

The Republicans have a ton of whack jobs they embrace and it ends up rallying their base big time, like Rush, Hannity, Coulter, etc. These three I listed out and out lie aggressively on a daily basis. We hate them for it, but they continue to thrive.

One of the Democrats core values is integrity, but frankly we are shooting ourselves in the foot if we continue to abandon our fiercest mouthpieces because Republicans cry foul.

10. So would you rather he would have
sat back these last years and did nothing? Are you mad at him because he profited from trying to make America see the injustices? Nobody made you stand in line for hours to buy a ticket and see F/911. He tried to make a difference and now you're critical of him because he made money? Are we to criticize everyone that tried to win this country back and didn't deliver? He has his style of delivery and a lot of people don't like that style but hey, I do and I respect and appreciate everything he and every one of us did to take our country back.
