So, Who should we sell out next?
In the 1990s, we sold out the poor and working class.

On the Gay Marriage thread on the home page, there are numerous calls to sell out Gays.

So for those of you who think this a viable political strategy, who should we sell out next?

Women? African Americans?

If throwing members of our constituency overboard is our new strategy for winning, count me out.

1. amen - and this idea of wearing an insignia or armband, etc.
is dangerous too. Against this enemy, chameleon, might be a good way to go. Just my opinion...

3. Stealth mode, you mean?
Maybe.

I'll see what happens with my liberal Christian friends. I saw 70 year old people fearing for their democracy. I was very proud of them.

They will be treated like dirt themselves!

5. Let's throw out the children next
Let's support eliminating public education and children's health initiatives. Make a bold statement, win over the REDS.

6. There has been more than one thread around here
advocating the abandoning of the abortion issue.

I wish people would come to terms with the fact the we already have one party of white, materialistic, racist, woman-hating homophobes - why in they hell do they think we need another one?

There are many people who don't wish to fit into that category - some probably don't even know it yet.

7. No one!
We need to get out there like the right wingers and champion our causes and ideas. We need to frame them in the proper moral context.
