This "mandate" thing cracks me up...... |
|
So - what percent of registered voters did decide to vote - 55%? 60%? Our fearful mis-leader got 51% of the vote (maybe...but that's another story) - 51% of 60% (best case scenario) is around 30%. So - 30% of registered voters decided to choose the chimp. Nice mandate...nice majority. I have been outraged at the media's claim that "the majority of the country is behind him" and bullshit headlines like that....our country's collective IQ must be in the mid double digits (present company excepted, of course!)

30%-29% is not a mandate. One side does not define what is the "real America" and the other not. It's total crap.
Luckily, as the loosing side, we will focus on the 41% who selected "none of the above" and stayed home. They're arrogance will be their downfall!

4. No shit! This chimp pres got more votes opposing his candidacy than any |
|
other in history - 55 million of them! And he can lay claim to winning re-election with the smallest electoral margin since Woodrow fucking Wilson! Some mandate.
Check out this kettle of lies below by Peggy Noonan. What a dunderheaded bitch.
"George W. Bush is the first president to win more than 50% of the popular vote since 1988. (Bill Clinton failed to twice; Mr. Bush failed to last time and fell short of a plurality by half a million.) The president received more than 59 million votes, breaking Ronald Reagan's old record of 54.5 million. Mr. Bush increased his personal percentages in almost every state in the union. He carried the Catholic vote and won 42% of the Hispanic vote and 24% of the Jewish vote (up from 19% in 2000.)
It will be hard for the mainstream media to continue, in the face of these facts, the mantra that we are a deeply and completely divided country. But they'll try!"
