12. Neither did close to half of the people in many of the red states. |
|
My point is - too many people see only red or blue and not the people and division within.
In many "blue" states, the vote for Kerry was only 1% lower than it was in a similar "red" state. Iowa and Wisconsin, for example. 50/49 Bush vs. 50/49 Kerry. One red, one blue.

bin Laden and Saddam are twins! That's why we had to invade Iraq! <sarcasm button> off now. Nothing the Assholes in the administration does makes any sense whatsoever.

fighting with everything I have to get that idiot out of office. There are * supporters & Kerry supporters in all of our states, so not fair to label as all the * supporters are down here. There are plenty of us down here who actually know what's going on in the world & who haven't joined the * cult.

I belive Iraq is a quicksand - the more we struggle the deeper we sink. I hope I'm wrong. But I doubt it - every fiber of my being says it will be a disaster.

were already heavily into the blood of Jesus. I think the color red fits based on that symbology alone.
It's funny because when they first started using this color scheme four years ago I thought more Republicans would complain because red was traditionally associated with communism.
But they seem to have accepted it. They could also argue against it by saying they are the party of bluebloods. OTOH, they are now the party of choice of rednecks everywhere.

13. I live in a Red State |

Actually Jesus was a liberal. Came from a nice Jewish family. Had some run ins with the authorities.
Don't let some delusional radicals give him a bad name. The way of life he advocated would not go over well in most Red States. I figure he would want to move to a Blue State.

15. Well, I agree entirely |

and BTW, believe it or not, I belong to the local Southern Baptist church and attend regularly. And if Christ would move to a blue state, I must say I am thinking of emulating Him even more because the thought of moving out of Texas has weighed heavily on my mind this week.
However, Christ would not stay in the blue state. He would venture often to the red states to confront the Pharisees and minister to the despised sinners in their midst who were being met with judgment and condemnation.
I see the "strong delusion" these people are under almost every Sunday. The pastor openly campaigned for the regime from the pulpit in spite of the fact it wasn't at all necessary since we are in Texas. Of course, he was careful to hedge his language to stay within 501(c)3 guidelines.

He often administered to the down trodden. He also was not adverse in attacking hypocrisy in high places. Probably would have stayed in some of the Red States. He would have had a hard time there.

There are plenty of blue people in red states who did what they could.
