The Tide is really turning (been out in the sticks for a week!)

I just got back into town late last night. I have not listened to any news on the radio, the TV, or read any newspapers. and have been in the countryside, basically, away from all information.

I cut the news cord on Saturday mid-day, and returned late last night.

I Logged onto DU for a 1/2 hour last night (after driving 10 long hot hours!), and I thought, "wow, when you're away from all this and come back to it, it *sure* does seem like there's an awful lot of bad news about Bush* and the admin."

So I get up this morning -- refreshed -- and now I realize........SOMETHING BIG has happened. The tide is turning. The spin from the repukes is commendable as far as spin goes......but am I mistaken in my judgment that Bush and the top tiers are standing there with their pants down.....and there ISN'T a HUGE rush of spin aid coming from the ENTIRE RIGHT?

Like maybe the repukes in congress might just have decided that it's best NOT to stand too close to a sinking ship?

All I know is......I didn't see the build up to the current state of affairs for the Bush* Cabal and all the "questions" and "polls" and the horrible weak "answers" from them to the public and press....... and Folks......this is a major moment. FINALLY.

1. I think it started to blow with the statements by Amb Wilson re

his going to Niger to investigate. His report to WH identified the report as bogus or a forgery. He said the WH had to know this and the VP s office as well. Now the WH is trying to blame George Tenent and the CIA. Its been interesting to say the least and seems to be gaining momentum. Cool huh!

Well......there's no spin that can fix this for bush*. He and his cabal are either a) evil (my theory); or b) totally incompetent. The spin that it's the CIA's fault for clearing his speech? Sheesh.....is Bush* not responsible or accountable for ANYTHING? WHOA......that's a stretch.

2. we're getting ready to go on vacation in 2 weeks

so that should mean that it will all hit the fan. Big news always hits when we go out of town, it seems. We were on the road during the Monica Lewinsky episode and also when OJ was doing his slo-mo chase, and when Princess Di died. So I'm looking forward to some big stuff... won't have DU though, so I'm sure we'll see spin spin spin spin...
