High ranking CIA official resigns
The Washington Post reports today that 32-year CIA veteran John McGlaughlin has resigned. The paper says McGlaughlin is one of several CIA execs who have been discontented and may resign.

Drip, drip, drip.

More turmoil in the Bush administration. But hey! At least them there queers can't get married.

4. I think the circumstances may be different.
Condi knows she's over her head.

For the others, it's a matter of principle. IMHO

3. McLaughlin should
have been appointed the direct of CI. He knows Goss is there to advocate the Cheney agenda.

5. Waterman: would really like your thoughts on Goss-Plame knowledge

Is there any chance that Goss knew who she was before she was outed?

And why would Goss so desperately want to keep DDO Kappes after he threatened to resign, just after refusing a request from Goss's chief of staff to fire a subordinate? I'm wondering how much Kappes knows and might spill a la Scheuer.
