As soon as it was very obvious (last spring) that Iraq had no WMD and wasn't possibly any threat to America (or anyone else) bush denied he EVER called Iraq an 'imminent' threat; it was a "FUTURE threat".

So, if Iraq was a FUTURE threat, as bush now claims, WHY did bush;

1. Kick out the UN weapons inspectors before they'd finished their work, when all they needed was 90 more days to finish?

bush made it VERY CLEAR that our uniformed American men, women, & teenagers' LIVES WERE NOT WORTH 90 DAYS.

2. Rush our troops into combat without enough rifles?
Without enough ammo?
Without enough body armor?
Without enough night-vision goggles, vital machine replacement parts, armored humvees, food, water, etc?

3. WHEN will the US State Media, US military, freeping rightwingnuts, and assorted other idiotic Americans EVER BOTHER ASKING THESE QUESTIONS???

they never report on it and question the things they say and keep on it until they get answers.

just watch how they report on things like scott peterson trial,kobe bryant etc. how they question every claim made by each side and look at facts and other things. they go in depth, they actually report facts. just imagine if they would put that much effort into reporting on issues that matter like iraq war.

3. only tactical excuse - avoiding summer

It was the spring, and they wanted to go in before the weather got warm.
