If there is a problem with the policy, just intensify the propaganda.... |
|
The solution is so obvious to Bush and the PNAC crowd. If people are turning against your policy in Iraq, it is not because it is wrong, it is because they haven't been "spun" well enough. So, fasten your seatbelts! They are getting ready to give you the Big Spin. You will be so dizzy by the time this week is over, you won't even know what day it is.
Sunday, of course, we will have the "big speech" by Herr Bush himself. Then, shortly afterwards, there is the premiere of the heroic 9/11 movie on ShowTime...history totally distorted. Then next week, we wait for the other frontal assault of the propaganda blitz. David Kay comes forward with his report? Then we have the full right-wing interpretation of what it means - on talk radio and cable TV . Hold on to your seats!

I agree with you 100%. The things they say make you go, Huh? I don't remember it that way at all...Talk about revisionist history...they're the masters of it, but they don't go way back...they revise things that happened only a few hours ago or a few days ago and lie blatantly to your face about it...

3. I am amazed at how well they do it... |

I keep waiting for them to do a royal screw-up but they all seem to be singing off the same page. They are very dangerous, in my opinion. Reality is what they say it is...

4. How many will actually fall for that movie's propangandizing? |
|
They showed a clip on Buchanan & Press yesterday. Pure fiction. They made Bush look articulate and Presidential, like the fictional President Bartlett. Those of us who have seen him for real, know he doesn't know words that big. Even the dumbest freeper has to figure that out I hope.
