Jim Slagle deserves credit for boiling Tenet's statement today down to this soundbyte. I thought the soundbyte deserved its' own thread.


In all of what Tenet says in today's statement it comes down to this:

"They told me not to tell them it was a lie, so I didn't."

They (cia)looked at the speech and said, yup the BRITISH do say that just like you want to say that they say that. But you don't want to hear that it is discredited, so we won't tell you that since you don't want to hear it.
