My Hat Is Off To The ACLU For Suing Rummy! Get Him On The Stand!
I have been looking to see if there were any threads on this topic and haven't found any. Sorry if it is a dupe.
============================
I am thrilled that this guy will finally be deposed/cross examined under oath. Let's see how his lies stand up to existing perjury changes?

Any chance of this suit making it that far? What do you think?

Suit Blames Rumsfeld for Abuse by Troops
By PAULINE JELINEK
The Associated Press

Updated: 11:59 p.m. ET March 1, 2005WASHINGTON - Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld is responsible for torture and abuse of prisoners held by the U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan and should compensate the victims, a lawsuit contended Tuesday.

The suit was filed on behalf of four Iraqis and four Afghans who allege they suffered severe and repeated beatings, cutting with knives, sexual humiliation and assault, mock executions, death threats, and restraint in excruciating positions.

This is one of the most positive developments I've seen in a long time!

3. Recently there was the case
against Rummy that was supposed to go in front of the German court. He was going to be picked up if he stepped foot in the country and he wasn't going there. Then the Germans said that they would not take the case because it hadn't been presented to the American courts yet. I think it went something like that, sorry I don't have the link but it was in the last couple of weeks. Is this case sort of backfilling that gap so if they do not do anything the German courts can then move ahead? Just a thought.
