Where can we get Open Source transcripts of Greenspan's Q&A?
Who has the Greenspan transcript from 03/02?

I thought Alan Greenspan gave a very revealing and profound talk on SocSec and the state of the U.S. economy yesterday. There are a lot of local activists and on D.U. & elsewhere who are badmouthing him without extensively reviewing what he said and why he may have said it at the time & order he did.

When Greenspan said SocSec will have issues in 2008 he wasn't using the same data and memes that Reps have been using for much later dates. Greenspan is certainly not political where giving consideration to fiscal and monetary policies, but others who gather, sort & disseminate his valuable analysis certainly are political and highlevel political/financial stuff will happen as a result of yesterday no matter what the established press does. Those activists should have been dissing some of the Republican Reps and a few Democratic Reps of the H.B.C. questioning Greenspan who are members of an exclusive supply-side corporate neocon no-bid contracts only, keep-brokers-isolated, topdown Ponzi club soon to fizzle & evolve!

Nothing today on http://www.house.gov/budget/

Published testimony at the Fed's website only goes to 2002: http://www.federalreserve.gov/BoardDocs/Testimony/

No written transcripts at c-span. You can download the video, provided you have RSTP/QuickTime and javascript running correctly ( In my opinion that's implementing too many steps when you can keep javascript off and use *.mov / *.m3u files to do the same thing with less resources ). When will the D.C. transcript service providers go Open Source? How about everything said gets multi-transcribed daily during public Congressional sessions and archived online to *.gov public repositories in fulltext ASAP?

Shoved to the bottom of c-span page:

Alan Greenspan, Chairman, Federal Reserve at House Budget Cmte. on Economic & Fiscal Issues
Alan Greenspan, Chairman, Federal Reserve testifies on the U.S. economic outlook and other fiscal issues before the House Budget Committee, chaired by Jim Nussle (R-IA). The hearing spends little time on the economy and a lot on social Security and other issues.
3/2/2005: WASHINGTON, DC: 3 hr. 10 min.

Hi PaineITA,

Long time no write!

The D.U. system considers me too green & won't let me email / P.M. you. I assume you're talking about thomas.loc.gov. I get a " 405 Method Not Allowed " when I do a keyword search from the thomas home page:

"
Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /index.html.
"

wwws.house.gov only turns up one non-related document when I do a search for " greenspan budget ".

Nothing relevant at http://firstgov.org/. FirstGov has consistently been a gee-whiz failure when it comes to timeliness and accuracy.

Is there currently some massive internal revolt in our federal government over the storage and dissemnation of public government records I'm not aware of?

I'm remembering the now defunct CommonGroundCommonSense. You could say we're pioneers of commentary+newsposts on forums, then and now.
