I wonder if the Republicans are hoping that they stir mass discontent
Edited on Thu Mar-03-05 06:12 PM by DearAbby

1. Some probably do. Others just plan to blame all the discontent on US!

4. These extremists want a theocracy, they must first have to render
the constitution null, by martial law could this in affect do it?

3. But that would assume people will sit idle and gladly take it up the ass
Martial Law = End of the Republican Party

People are on the verge of realizing the truth about this whole charade. When that time comes, Republicans will wish they were not.

5. Shit, they already have martial law. They nearly killed a guy the other
day with a taser for helping himself to the salad bar at a chuck e cheese. If they even think you are stepping out of line, I guarantee the swat team will surround your house, kill you and burn the motherfucker down before you can say "ACLU".

6. It is like each bill they propose or pass is worse than the last one
Like they are trying to get people to massively protest. It just seems like they can not possibly be this ignorant, to think the public would be willing to work more jobs to pay for the Tax for the rich. Donate their children in a war for profit. Have Social security dismantled. To have no recourse for medical malpractice, to have rights taken away in bankruptcy...each one worse than the one before, and the list goes on.

Like they are thinking up ways that they know would cause an outcry ENOUGH and the people will take it to the streets

7. They're pitting parents against their children.
How's that for pro family. We've got to make people realize it's us against them. They are out to destroy the middle class and our democracy.

"citizens" those that are not gainfully employed. somehow "taken Care of" At this point would not surprise me.

10. Nah they're too busy turning us into a third world nation
I'm quite sure they know sooner or later there will be civil unrest and that's when they'll put teeth into the PATRIOT ACT.

11. The big show!!
will come when toooooo many freedom loving people meet to plan some form of restoration of a nation that they are well on the way to destroying. If our Democrats in government can't stand up to them, at least showing as against their plans, then we will have to show some real guts and get arrested in smaller numbers. Don't take it for granted that numbers will make you safe. Martial law is Waco and Idaho and simply death in the streets. Yes they are fomenting unrest and watching for the one incident that will allow them to show their ugly power to stop anyone.

able to communicate with each other is another. Keep us dumb and silenced. This shit scares me.
