What is the real reason for Bush's recent assault on the American people? |
|
1) He's pushed through his class action lawsuit agenda to make it harder for the middle and lower class to receive justice.
2) He wants to destroy Social Security and eliminate it from working as a partial insurance policy against poverty for millions of Americans who need it the most. While at the same time, burdening the Federal budget with even more debt that he has ran up.
3) He wants to make sure that people are forced to pay their debts without bankruptcy protections, regardless of catastrophic conditions.
4) He wants to change income tax, and Greenspan has pushed the idea of merging a national sales tax with income tax (have both). Take one guess who will end up paying for both and more, and get even less from their government in return.
I'm sure that I must be leaving out some changes that Bush wants to implement, but it is starting to look like he has some grand scheme when you stand back and look at all he wants to change. We are not talking about the usual small things to screw Americans over for a few years, he's pushing for stuff that will destroy millions of Americans for a long time to come.
Does anyone else see a sinister big picture on the horizon? Any ideas on whether or not Bush has a much bigger motive involved with all of his changes?

These guys want to get paid and they know the only way they'll get everything they think they're entitled to (which IS everything) is to concentrate power in the hands of a few.

All these trade agreements are pretty much nullifying our federal and state laws. After all and when our laws are broken by someone telecommuting from India or China, why should they care? Who's going to prosecute or punish them?

6. To ensure that common people die penniless. |

Why? Because any inheritance from our working class parents means that some money didn't make it to the HMOs, insurance companies, phamacutical industry, rest homes, or other companies that lobbied him for a stacked deck.

wealthiest and the corporations. You need a job so just shut up and take what you can get. Don't complain about lack of benefits or low wages, it'll be take what ever you can get. The worker has no more control. One of the biggest things that happened that irked these people was during the Clinton era people really had choices and started to get all uppity about work conditions, benefits etc. There were decent jobs and ordinary people had some saving for retirement. Well they took care of that and now they have to finish the job.

12. I was referring to his recent garbage that he is pushing. |
|
Before, it was the typical Republican bullshit of, 'the hell with those who have to have to work to survive.' Now Bush is wanting to completely restructure and model the Government to benefit only the corporations and the upper class.
Guys, I know who he is helping, that he is corrupt on power, and all of the above listed, but he is starting down a road that is going to destroy this country for several millions of Americans. It seems to me that Bush is systematically restructuring the United States into a Corporate Government and make all citizens subjects to this Corporate Government. What I have been looking for is exactly where he really intends to take this country, and how far he will push the American people into a corner before they react.
From all outward appearances, the Democrats have just rolled over and allowed this power-grab to take place or they are in the same corporate pockets. Unless it is their intent to let Bush and the Republicans overplay their hand with the American people, and wait for the backlash. Either way, something has got to give, because pure Hell is coming and history is being re-written.

13. So elites & corporations can exist unfettered by populust regulations |
|
that make life better for all manking. So nobody will know who they are anymore even if they do try to change the tax system back to a progressive one in 5 years (if you don't pay income tax, nobody knows your income). So that each immigrant will be well documents and paying 20% of his salary on taxes but that the rich will be paying only 2% on taxes and will be 'undocumented'.
