Sometimes I wonder
if we are emailing the wrong people. We let our dems know where we stand, maybe we should be contacting the pukes. They cannot identify with their constituents, maybe it is time they hear from them. They hear from the friendly maybe they should hear from the unfriendly. They need to hear we will work against them in 2006 and 2008. If they don't hear from us, everything is great in their eyes.

2. You have a point. I will try that and see what kind of emails I get back.
The Repugs will probably send the CIA to see if I am a terrorist.....lol

5. Interesting thought...
.... and I think you are probably right.

But... I live in TX and my wonderful wife has emailed Kay Bailey Hutchison many many times.

She always dutifully sends a response by snail mail, consisting of a form letter stating her position and making no effort to address the points raised by my better half.

I guess there is some utility value in making her waste such a letter on us - trust me we aren't buying any of it for a second. :)

6. I think it should be both
Depending on what it is and if there would be any for sure change if they heard from people. I wonder what would happen if they got fulled with emails, fax's and phone calls/voice mails.

7. Maybe if for the next 3 years they are inundated with letters, emails and
calls (as American not Democrats) stating that Bush's bills and ideas are scaring us about the future and what we will have to face. If we state that we don't understand what he is doing and we never thought that someone would try to do things like this to us, maybe, they would begin to at least worry about THEIR future.

9. save your emailing and letter writing to people locally...
both the pugs and dems give 2 shits about what us serfs think. Start small, that's the base.

10. U must be joking
I always write to the Republicans who "represent" the districts where I live. I have written to Nussle, Grassley, Brownback and Ryun, all Republicans. They do have a good record of writing back, whereas I do not believe I ever heard from Harkin. It is quite disgusting when they pretend you agree with them and when they send lies back to you. I thought I could use the lies against them, but there has not been much chance to do that.
