I'm listening to the Guy James show talking about the Iraq exit program. He said a good idea. What if we all Email our democratic senators (the one's we KNOW will help us) and demand they don't sign on the bill for more money for Iraq? Could it be possible? Until they give us an idea of when we're leaving?

All those lost lives were taken in waste. All the money spent was a waste. Do you mean that because they were taken and spent in waste, the USA should stay in Iraq?

authority, and do not answer to a higher authority. They also would no longer need the presence of U.S. troops.

but, um, who do you mean? Do they need the presence of US troops or are those troops continuing the problems by being there? Or is do you mean that until the Iraqis accept the US troops and are ok with them being there, they should stay? As long as they want them to go, they should stay, and as soon as they want them to stay, it's ok to go?

Seems you are saying that USA should stay until the mess is cleaned up. I don't see how it can be cleaned up until USA leaves. USA should never have gone in in the first place. Leaving is a bad option, staying is worse.

Lives lost and money spent and agony happened for a bad result.

12. Succeed under an oppressive theocracy which will turn around and bite us

as soon as they can. Look back at the "help" we have given to other countries in that area and how they have used it against us. Already women and children have less rights now than they did under Saddam and many are angry about it. We have give control back to the religious sects.....it will be a mess and we will either have to stay or go back at a later date...there is no success as we think of it.

4. The Repugs would scream bloody murder and say that the Demos where not

supporting the troops, against the soldiers, and against the spread of Democracy in the world and make them sound anti-American. Then they would save up the tapes of their outrage for the next election. We need to email and call all of the Repugs and demand they vote against the funding, tell them the Democrats would like to know a date when the troops will come home and we think that is a good idea......if Bush really intends to EVER bring them home....Don't even mention being Democratic....just American.
