I'm sorry, I find all this basketball frenzy totally idiotic. |
|
I would rather watch grass grow than watch a bunch of hyperthyroid neanderthals running back and forth on a wood floor trying to knock the shit out of each other in some asinine quest to jam a goddam ball down a net. And getting paid megabucks to do this crap. Grrrrrrr

. . . different strokes and all that.
It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg, so what matter is it to me if my neighbor worships basketball or Mozart?

7. No, it doesn't pick my pocket, but it interferes with my desire to see |

what the RW (SCLM) media has to offer. I meant not to offend anyone, I just find it, in light of the horrific world geopolitical situation, a despicable distraction. Thass all...

11. This Is Better Than More Amber Smith/Peterson/Jacko |

Yes, we're not going to have any discussions about serious issues since this regime is in full pillage and you don't discuss the bank robbery while it's taking place.
At least this sports "spectacle" involves the most diversity of the others...the last vestiges of true competition, and where rooting for the underdog feels good.
Plus, this is easier to do than field a full news operation in Baghadad since the corporate media is too cheap and scared to do it...so much easier to let the Pentagon write the stories for them.
Cheers!

10. Get it right, it's about sticking a ball through a circle. |
|
The net is unimportant. At least it's more exciting than hockey or soccer where they just run back and forth and accomplish almost nothing the entire game with such exciting highlights as "Final score is 1 to 1, we're going into overtime!!!"
