A short time ago I received a call from

a rep. from Lyndon LaRouche in Va. Interesting conversation, I felt like I was talking to a progressive Democrat. She praised Reid and Boxer... and was not supportive of Lieberman. Most of the conversation was geared toward the shrub budget and social security. So, I asked how she received my phone number, it was through a petition I signed against the shrub's SS plan. She continued to converse regarding shrub and his administration and fascism and sad to say I had to agree with her comments. What is wrong with this? She did mention Kerry and how the LaRouche people supported him. She wanted me to donate money, but I suggested she send me written information. I did not want to do anything over the internet.

1. Larouch hates jews. Larouche is just using this as an attempt to

raise money. What has he done to stop George Bush. Ignore him. Just like Nader or Al Sharpton.. Larouche could be a tool to alienate members of the Big Tent democrats.

Do not talk to anyone except for a Democrat on the phone. If others call you - you can be sure that they have a script and they know who you are and how you vote. Why else would they have your number if they didn't buy it off a direct marketing list (which could tell them your passtimes and any issues you value). And they may be 'push polling' where - from what I understand because I have not worked that many campaigns - but I think push polling is when they fill your head with gossip or bad carma and try and change your thinking.

The easiest way for a sociopath to control your particular thinking would be to reality test where you are exactly (or put you there) and then come around from the other side (on TV,local media, another phone call) and complete the thought/feeling in your head. BOOM - your thinking has been changed and you are a patsie voting against your own best interest.

So - not that the average Democrat would be so gullable or simplistic that they would be a good candidate to be manipulated.. but it does happen. At the less they know or get to spread ... the better.

Just ignore the phone calls of people who do not identify themselves as democrats. It may be that some Repuke group has given much money to Linden for telephone polls..knowing full well that a good group of Democrats hate Linden Larouche and everything he stands for like the plague. (They did it for Nader). And then you may be supposed to be saying in your head: "gee - I dislike Linden so much and he is against SS...maybe I should be for it?".

Who knows. Just keep out of the 'sights' of the political machines. Stick with what you know. These are not great times. But we have to be smart and vigilant since we can no longer stick our heads in the sand. We have learnt that much. Sand bad... but sticking your neck out is something you want to do when you have strength in numbers and are with people who share your values. Unless of course you are Zean Warrior Woman! And then you may want to eat the Larouche supporter as an hors d'oevre, before dinner.

Just be carefull.

I felt like I was talking to someone from DU. She had all the Dem talking points.

I refused to donate, she seemed a litte upset I asked for a paper copy of her comments, this will be interesting.

Perhaps they call people who signed conservative petitions and use conservative talking points.

You seemed so surprised that they talked about things with which you agree, yet you know they have some idea of what your politics are going to be like because of where they got your name.

If they are being run by some Cointelpro type agency it would not surprise me. They have functioned as disruptors, sowing discord and planting disinformation in progressive movements, since their origins. 7. Three Larouchies have joined my LD Dem organization

No one wants to tell them to go away, and they seem to mean well. They have large stacks of 48 page pamphlets, and the first four pages of them usually make perfectly good sense. Then they veer off into the domain of Planet Whackjob, with assertions that nobody but Larouche can possibly restore the FDR Dem platform, etc.

I don't like to tell people who mean well to just get lost, but Larouche is quite a few fries short of a Happy Meal. I'm not giving them any money, that's for sure.
