How do I find how much SS I have coming to
me when I retire? Someone posted a link a while back. I have never checked and I am 55...thanks

Will take you to the Social Security Administration website and you should be able to obtain your info there.

2. You should get a mailing every year as well.
Listing how many quarters you've earned, what the payout per month would be, etc.

5. Two steps ...
First, obtain a report from SSA detailing your earnings and contributions history. Then, use one of the SSA's benefit calculators to obtain an estimate. They offer both online and downloadable calculators, with the downloadable (I use "AnyPIA" Version 2005.1 on Windows) being more accurate.
