What is a physical problem, and what does it really mean?
Sounds like a real dumb question, almost too obvious. Back hurts, herniated disks, brain disease, being overweight, leg broke, etc and so on. Of course there is a but (and not just my big one...)

Some people in this country have all sorts of problems which preclude them from engaging in activities which could make their lives either better or able to continue in a standard capacity. Let me elaborate a tad on that last one:

We have standards. Live in a real messy house, your kids could be taken for example. Can't pay your utilities - off they go, and you suffer. I am sure you can think of more and even better ones then that.

So when you have problems, physically (which I would also add can cover mental ones since the brain is physical) and are unable to live up to the standards that a society sets you can 'get into trouble'.

Arrested, fined, kids yanked away, harassed, no treatment, inability to engage in some of the same things others are (or stopped from doing so), et al and so on.

THIS, to me in a nutshell, is why the rethugs are so dangerous. Let them set the standards, and those who do not fall into such standards will be punished for not doing better. Unless you are Terri Schiavo - in which case they see to care (as but one example).

To me in a nation of diverse of people we the people who elect the government to do our bidding would seem to want to help those who cannot always help themselves, or simply need a hand here and there. While the right tosses out evolution and says man is a high level created creature, they at the same time trumpet survival of the fittest. And so on. Would write more but getting a page - will just post and hope some people more eloquent than I can expound and discuss.
