saving Terry Schiavo while killing the rest of us . . .
“No matter how paranoid you are, what they’re actually doing is worse than you can possibily imagine!” . . . Ralph Gleason

The Plot To Kill Us All:
As the atrocities of rich criminals increase, the tragic American coma intensifies

http://www.whale.to/b/kaminski3.html

(snip)

In fact, the volume of American war crimes and other atrocities that go unmentioned by American media has reached unprecedented proportions. And yet, with each new lie told by our leaders covering up new atrocities perpetrated by the American military, the American people are driven deeper into a self-inflicted coma — in large part because our media do not recognize these events as real, creating a situation in the minds of the American people that if they are not reported on television, then they must not really be true.

This is where evolution has taken us — to a totally brainwashed delusion.

(snip)

To the point where now we have the obscene extermination of an entire populations going on in Iraq, Afghanistan, Haiti and Colombia, and we have the majority of Americans willingly oblivious to it all, going merrily on their way with their Christmas shopping and Internet porn surfing. Despite the desperate rallying of radio talk show hosts and erstwhile peace activists, the perceptual coma that enshrouds the American people has never been more pervasive. Nor more dangerous to all life on this planet.

And with all due respect to you cyberdenizens who ply the Worldwide Web for unbiased news you know you can’t get on TV or in war machine propaganda instruments like The New York Times, I humbly submit that even you do not fully comprehend the depraved dementia being inflicted upon us all by a process so psychologically intertwined with what we perceive are our own best interests that we can’t even track down the events that got us to this sad point in the evolution of our self-destruction without needing some rejuvenating boost from Elavil, Maui wowie, salvia divinorum, or at least Jack Daniel’s.

(snip)

The worst, most vicious killers in history, bar none, and you still, in your heart, won’t admit it! American soldiers were told by their superiors to kill everyone in Fallujah, no matter how young or how old, but you didn’t see that on TV so you don’t believe it.

Depleted uranium: Dirty bombs, dirty missiles, dirty bullets:
A death sentence here and abroad

http://www.sfbayview.com/081804/Depleteduranium081804.shtml

"Just 467 U.S. personnel were wounded in the three-week Persian Gulf War in 1990-1991. Out of 580,400 soldiers who served in Gulf War I, 11,000 are dead, and by 2000 there were 325,000 on permanent medical disability. This astounding number of disabled vets means that a decade later, 56 percent of those soldiers who served now have medical problems."

1. Do you think?
I hate to think that with the internet, and computers being so prevelant, that Americans are really so naive that they think the only news is what's piped into their living rooms every day.

It seems that dissent is growing because of the communication between different cultures, areas, and individuals here, as well.

DUH-bya's not doing well in the polls over the Social Security plan. Maybe such events cause some people to look at other things he's doing that are all screwed up, and they come away with a new understanding of the real state of the union.

3. the vast majority of Americans still get ALL their news from tv . . .
and possibly a glance at the morning paper (which, for most, is a house organ for the corporatocracy) . . . news is what tv tells them is news . . . thus the immense coverage of Michael Jackson and Terry Schiavo and the complete lack of coverage of depleted uranium, the Fallujah massacre, the truth about 9/11, and a myriad of other issues that really are news . . . or should be . . .

5. You know the rules!
No one is allowed to criticize anything the administration does, lest they be shipped far away and denied access to an attorney.

I truly believe there'd be more dissent except that so many are now terrified of the government. :(

2. 100,000 homeless/yr die from heat, cold, rat bites, hunger {food stamp
Edited on Sun Mar-20-05 02:37 AM by oscar111
"shortfall".. a nice word for repeated cuts that plan to keep even more hungry}

homeless die at three times normal rate.

3 million in homeless condition over the course of a year.

25 years of this planned policy, begun when RR cut 2/3's of housing vouchers in the early eighties.
Before RR, there were so few homeless, they were not even counted.
They are one third addicts, a third just very poor, and a third mentally or physically sick. No board interviews folks falling into homelessness to screen away the good people and let only rotten people fall. Good people are down there.
================================
Now tell me again how the GOP values human life.

This coming bush budget plans:
food stamp cuts that will up hunger from 12 to 13 million, and add two million to those living on a piece of sidewalk.

Tell me again how bush values human life.

6. My dad had a theory...
That when food stamps and other programs are cut, there will be more crime, rioting, etc. because those kept docile and fed will start to demand food.

It's an interesting concept. I read somewhere years agot that the next world war will be about food.
