The Anti-War Institution



So I marched yesterday, as I did last year, and the year before that. And I suppose I will next year, too, and the year to follow. By then, perhaps, we'll be exchanging greeting cards: Happy Anti-War Day to the World's Most Peaceful Dad!

If there ever was an anti-war movement, it's long gone. (Suicided?) What's taken its place is an institution of self-actualization. Ineffective as hell, except maybe for transitory catharsis, but at least its obligations are nominal: attend the annual hand-wringing parade, and you've paid the dues for another 12 months. Just enough commitment for the Not-Me Generation of Not in my name.

Since, for me, a fog of this can't be happening unreality still envelopes Cheney and Bush, I guess it's only fitting their opposition start reminding me of an old Star Trek episode. Specifically, "Return of the Archons": a puritanical sect is ruled by mind control, but on set days, at the stroke of the hour, control is removed for a mindless "festival" of drunken debauchery and violence. The next morning, again on the hour, control is restored. It's as though "festival" never happened.

Protesting the war isn't "mindless," unless it's nothing but an unconsidered reflex. But when it's institutional, it becomes another form of social control. It's a way to let the dissident faction "blow off steam." No harm done to the ruling interests, no change to government policy, and the protesters leave thinking they've made their "voices heard," even though nobody's listening.

Part of the problem, perhaps, is too many people are trying to fight parapolitics with politics. Even after Florida, the Supreme Court, Wellstone, Diebold and Ohio, they don't recognize that, so far as America is concerned, politics is finished. And parapolitical power nodes, which have come well out of the shadows since 2000, are neither accountable to voters, nor terribly responsive to chants of "Hey Hey! Ho Ho!"

So, instead of March 19, what am I suggesting? Since I'm a Canadian, feel free to file this under "Easy for him to say." But March 19 is a good place to start. And I'd also suggest March 20, and then the 21st, and the 22nd after that....

A march on Washington could be a million strong, but if everyone goes home at the end of the day, nothing changes. But if 1,000 camp on the Capitol grounds, and 10,000 join them the following night, nothing would be the same.

Bush & Cheney's documented criminal past lies dormant in semi-buried intelligence/security dossiers in the UK. These relate to the Gelli cold-war terrorism family, a scion of which (Licio Gelli) is in the slammer awaiting resumption of the "God's Banker" murder trial in Rome.

The personal involvement of Margaret Thatcher in trying to destroy/whitewash over these dossiers in pivotal to the slime into public office by US neo-cons.

The UK legal documents that identify Shrub as John Gelli all relate to his theft of UK real estate papers - leasehold and freehold property deeds - in late 1972. These were properties forfeited by a child sex ring in London at a High Court trial at which one of the survivors of gang rape testified against him and others, and was awarded compensation for the sex torture that she underwent.

Of those implicated is "Tony Blair" - who was identified in the rape trial as Peter Lowenstein, also known as Peter Heath, son of ex-UK Prime Minister Edward Heath and a Russian prostitute called Emilia Gelli.

The property documents stolen also contained court papers with relevant DNA evidence and bank statements showing who had attempted to illegally raise mortgages on these properties.

In the mid-1980s lawyers acting for the rape victim recovered all these documents, which had found their way to the coffers of the Vatican's Institute of Religious Works - whose portfolio was managed by "God's Banker" Roberto Calvi.

Their route to the Vatican's bank was via bank accounts held by the UK-based Marian Fathers, a Polish clerical order closely associated with terrorism financed by Jackie Kennedy's sister Caroline Lee Bouvier Canfield Radziwill's second husband Prince Stanislaw Radziwill.

The portfolio manager of these assets was John Bond, manager of the Reading branch of Midland Bank. He is now Sir John Bond, CEO of HSBC - the parent co of the former Midland Bank.

When the documents were recoved in the UK a woman estate agent involved in money laundering - Susie Lamplugh - "dissappeared" without a trace. This was late July 1986. Some days later the IRA blew up the basement of a North London property where fugitives on the run from a police investigation into a pedophile brothel run by the Children of God cult in Hampstead, North London, were hiding.

Subsequent police investigation showed the perpetrators to be members of the Gelli family acting on John Gelli's orders. He had been frantically trying to retrieve the property documents.

Much of the above was reported piecemeal in the UK press before Thatcher threw a D Notice gag on it on ground of it being dangerous to UK national security.

EDIT: from memory, "Lamplugh" was subsequently identified as Maria Gelli, and was working for MI5. Her personal references that got her the spooks job were provided by John Major, subsequent successot to Thatcher, and Michael Heseltine, Deputy PM to Major from 1990-97.

"Lamplugh's" body never actually ever found. Grapevine in London always suggested she is buried with other seminal evidence pertinent to "Blair" and "Bush" not far away from the Hampstead premises where UK branch of Children of God cult operated their brothel. Tory Party Jeffrey Archer was implicated and arrested in late August 86, questioned by anti-terrorism branch cops and later released after Thatcher went balistic and said "Special Relationship" with Raygun/Poppy was threatened.

EDIT2: the North London property where the basement was blown up by IRA thugs is believed to have been in Thatcher's family ownership during the post World War II years - roughly 1949 to 1962.
