Schivo massive smoke screen for something BUSHCO doesn't want us
to know.

Let's think about it. When this vote happens and with the REPUGS having the power it will pass..:puke: :puke: We know the Media whores will be talking about this the rest of the week AND given this Administrations history of releasing last minute/important info-appointing people-etc...on Fridays. What if the administration is going to do something really low down or dangerous to America that they do not want anyone focusing on. So get this vote thing going send it to a judge who is told to think about it for a week having the media keep talking about it.

I'm just racking my brain trying to figure out what can happen this up coming week the Administration do not want us to know or talk about or take action on.

7. Right, and with Easter weekend approaching...
...I wouldn't be surprised if something big happens on Thursday or Friday--when most people are not watching the news, due to traveling or other holiday-related plans.

14. You are very close..Good for you!
I KNEW something was about to happen but I forgot with so much going on..

quote......
Save the Filibuster: Support the Effort to Preserve Checks and Balances in the Senate
Republicans Are Ramping Up; Democrats Are Pushing Back
The push by Republican leaders in the Senate to eradicate the filibuster with their “nuclear option” is drawing ire from the other side of the aisle. In fact, the Democratic leader in the Senate, Harry Reid (D-NV), put his cards on the table Tuesday promising to virtually shut down the Senate if the Republicans take the radical step to kill the 200-year-old filibuster.

We should know that the pugs leave nothing to chance....(remember SCOTUS in 2000). Well they are going to be dAMN sure that WHEN Bushit can nominate a new Associate Justice they will have no problem with comfirmation.

13. All the crooked deals Tom DeLay is involved in and drowning out
Edited on Mon Mar-21-05 12:07 AM by Auntie Bush
the press regarding the world wide protests. Did you hear anything about them on MSM? I didn't! I wouldn't even have know about them if it wasn't for the Internet and sites like DU etc. The MSM's job these days is to keep us ill informed and spread the importance of religion.

They also drowned out all talk and complaints regarding drilling in the Arctic. Also stopped the media from discussing what a failure bush's SS campaign has become. I'm sure there are many others we don't know about.

15. I feel it too...something is being cooked up & this is a distraction...I
keep having the sensation that something isn't right (not just about the whole Schiavo situation with Congress meeting and debating over it). I fear that for one its a distraction to the news we all know about - The Social Security Piratization, the Bush Budget voting, the Anniversary of the Iraq War and any protests etc..... But its something else that keeps nagging at me and when I just read your post, I felt you have the similar "sense"....I have a bad feeling...maybe I'm just so tired of these bastards, but this time, its different. I found myself this week asking my husband if we can sell our house. Told him I just feel that we need to start liquidating even more than we have been (we've been selling stock options and stocks) and even a house we have up in Seattle. Call me paranoid, but something else isn't right and my instincts have never been wrong...its when I don't listen to my instincts that I always regret it.

to relatives and wanting to know how and where family is at all time.

I know about feelings too. And I follow my intincts as much as time.

It must be something more bigger than Delay SS reform and war protest that they want us to overlook.

18. I hope we are wrong, yet I fear we are right...
Follow your instincts....:hi: We have them for a reason...

Where are you? I'm in the SF Bay Area....So many think that NYC and the East Coast are the ones that will be hit in a terror attack...I keep feeling its the West Coast....Ironically, what I fear more than the Terror attacks is what this administration and Homeland Security with the help of the Terminator Ahnuld will decide to implement here (think martial law).

Meanwhile, the possibility of an attack on Iran and/or Syria isn't so far fetched either....

22. I'm in Bay Area, too.
I've been saying for months that what they need is another "terror attack" far worse than 9/11. Something that would give them carte blanche for the draft, eliminate dissent and justify the use of nukes in the ME.

Wana guess what would do that for them?

:nuke:

23. And don't forget that they need a way to control all us free-thinkers out
here on the Left Coast...what better way than to be able to implement martial law in the interest of "national security"?

Some folks I know are always feeling so confident being out here because they think its the west coast that is safer than the East...I say that is a very false sense of security and makes it all the more the most likely target for an attack.

24. I tend to agree.
They hate California for its freedoms--especially the Bay Area--which is why they a) deregulated our utilities; b) used the deregulation to create a fake energy crisis; c) used the fake energy crisis to syphon BILLIONS of dollars out of the State economy; and d) used THAT deficit as a reason to oust our duly elected Governor and replace him with a phelandering, pea-brained son of a Nazi.

Now all the Gropenator needs is a crisis around which he can be made to look, shall we say, pResidential?

26. This occurred to me, too.
Since Bug-Killer Delay seemed to have the most to say about this, I was wondering if this hysteria had to do with the fact that he is in deeper and deeper shit every day. By making such a big fuss about this, is he thinking that people (you know, the uninformed kind of people) would be thinking that by coming to the aid of this poor woman, he really is a good and decent man? That he couldn't possibly be guilty of all the scummy and sleazy things that he did?

27. Originally thought this was a non-issue, but
I realized that this "political manuever" clearly demonstrates the lack of morals this Republican party has.

When my mother died at home a few years back and the Hospice nurses came to prepare me for what to expect, they told me that people dying speak to loved ones that have passed years before and come to pick them up. While losing my mother was a horrible experience, watching her talk to my father and others about her upcoming journey gave me peace and understanding that this was the normal course. Since experiencing this and sharing it with others, many people have told me they are experienced the same things. When it is time for anyone to re-join their loved ones on the other side, we have no right to stand in their way. To keep them because we can't bear to say good-bye is selfish and immoral. Sorry to offend anyone, but I don't see this any other way.

Delay, Bush, and all the others care less about the well-being of this lady. I do believe they are protecting Jeb Bush's fight for his political position on the subject. Regardless, it is inhumane and immoral that they refuse to allow her to move on, after 15 bloody years.

I told everyone in my family this weekend that I want to meet my maker when the time is right and nobody better ever delay that for their own personal benefit.
