Poll question: Place your bets. When will oil hit $60?
Edited on Mon Mar-21-05 05:40 AM by arcos
I posted a similar poll a few months ago for $50... now we are about to break $60. So... what do you think?

on edit:

For the record, oil is trading at $56.59 in Asian markets today, down slightly from its closing of $56.72 in New York on Friday.

1. Can't do it. It'd be too much like investing in gold. . .
Investing in gold and speculating on oil futures both seem like means to set odds on the chances for war. Can't do it. My non-participation won't change anything, but my participation would seem to myself too much like condoning.

8. I'm thinking IN June
...and if it stays just shy of three through the summer, it will break three when they have to do their annual switch over from summer to winter mix. They ALWAYS play that BS "shortage" game when they switch the refineries over. You'd think, after years of this, they'd learn that winter and summer come regularly, and PLAN for it...but Nooooo! They've got to have a shortage to tack on a few cents that they never seem to return when capacity levels out.
