OK, I'm just very, very happy to tune into AAR in D/FW on AM 910. The new format debuted today.

I called the station manager to thank him for bringing AAR to North Texas, and he said the station has been inundated with calls and emails, almost entirely supportive. It's a small oasis of sanity deep in the heart of Bush country.

Although, I must say that I'm rather jealous. New Orleans still doesn't have a station. Orleans parish voted around 80 percent for Kerry. We NEED a station down here. How did y'all pull it off?

Apparently 910 was a Spanish language station in a market that's already saturated with Spanish radio. I think they correctly realize there is an untapped market hungry for non-Rightwing Hate Talk Radio.

I love getting close enough to Atlanta to hear it too. (I live pretty far away and it's a small station -- don't remember the call letters, but it's at 1600-something.)
