These people seem incapable of speaking in a modulated voice. Jesus himself would be frightened. Why is it that, whether they are on the radio, the television, you can even feeling it in their writing, they shriek? A woman on Ed Schultz today had me believing she was going to break into "Hezbollah!!!!" at any given moment. They cannot seem to prove a point on its merit alone.

Is it really he who shrieks loudest wins? If so, I'm going to a voice coach.

4. Because of human nature
When trying to change a person's mind it is seldom reason that does it in short order. It takes overwhelming emotion to shift a person's belief on a subject matter. And shouting conveys emotion. It charges a speech in such a way that the mind has difficulty ignoring it.
