"George W Bush killed my wife..." |
|
Did anyone hear the older male caller today on Randi with his personal story about the law that * had signed in Texas allowing the state to decide when to pull the plug?
He said that his wife had a stroke on (i cant be a hundred percent on his times) Feb 28 and that the doctors came and told him on March 6 that they were going to take her off the machine keeping her alive. He said he was insured and that he vehemently stated the family was not ready for this.
He ended his called with Randi saying "George W Bush killed my wife." I was bawling from the audacity of it. To give such less than a shit about people, and then try to garner up your fan base by pretending its the most valued thing ever.

9. Not once your married, now! |
|
You should get a living will and durable power of attorney NOW. What if next week you're in a car accident and your family doesn't know what you want. You need one now. You can change in in the future when you get married.

The caller's wife was in her 40s. But I don't think it was this year.

:( I think that law was so disgusting. "Compassionate conservative" my booty. And if you think about it what the man said is true.

6. I heard it as well. Just too unbelievable the cruelty people are capable |
|
of enacting on others.
Absent of the capacity to employ any empathy.

And they had insurance. Not that it makes them any more or less worthy of health care, but it's not just the poor he's railing against now--it's everyone, no holds barred.
