Are we afraid of bush, or is he afraid of us?
Edited on Wed Mar-23-05 11:26 AM by mopaul
i've heard many say that bush scares them, but it is he who should fear US. he works for US. WE the people, are his boss, not the other way around.

are we truly afraid of him, or of ourselves for not stopping him?

we should put the fear back where it belongs. in HIS court.

1. I think he DOES fear us. If he weren't so fearful, he wouldn't have
such an impermeable bubble around himself. He won't take unscripted questions from the public, won't appear in public unless the whole audience has been vetted first, and doesn't even want to be looked at directly by the public. Unfortunately, we have a lot to fear from him, too.

5. Reminds me
of the old standoff between the USA and the Soviet Union, which we used to refer to as "mutually assured destruction."

The people have the power to bring down this whole corrupt edifice of corporate/church Republicanism, but those that control the levers of power won't go down without a fight-- and possibly an auto da fe.

2. He is only afraid that
we will all be able to hear the truth, realize he is the bad guy, and get organized against him. That means he will have to bring out martial law and have to show his true colors.

6. yes, and did u see that Evansville IN has said they don't want him to visi
visit anymore because of the cost. Other countries are complaining too. The cost for a shrub visit is just stupid. No other president has required anywhere near this amount of security. And who is he kidding acting like its a terrorism issue. It's security against us, we, the people. It's not against terrorist. If you can't walk amongst your people, then you are NOT a leader of THE PEOPLE.

Not my president
