Just watched a show on The History Channel
called History's Mysteries about the assassination of Robert Kennedy.

I've seen this particular program before, but one of the men interviewed said he was sure that Bobby would have been elected President--and the man interviewed said he was a Republican. It made me wonder how different this country could have been if Bobby had been.

With the shear insanity that is rampant in this country now, I wonder if we as a country would have traveled a different path or would we have still ended up in the mess we have now.

We will never know, but God I so wish we could!!

1. I didn't see the show
but I've seen others where they say Kennedy was probably shot by a security guard trying to kill Sirhan Sirhan.
Damn shame, whatever happened.

3. hmmm...
if kennedy gets elected that means no nixon, of course that means no carter because carter was elected as a reaction to nixon.

the oil embargo et al still happens so the economic downturn of the late 70s still happens, but perhaps a republican is in office during it, maybe even reagan?

we dont get reaganomics which means no Bush I which means no Bush II?

lots of stuff would have changed, who knows if for the better though.

following the recommendation of the panel and either legalizing or decriminalizing Marijuana. (based upon Kennedy's ties to Tobacco which was preparing to make marijuana cigarettes at the time)

Kennedy would have kept Vietnam going since it was his family's meddling...

lots and lots of changes to the timeline.
