Few Questions: about Terri woman in FL
If her feeding tube was removed friday would reinserting it now cause more problems for her? for example could her body handle the intake of food or water?
How long can someone last after feeding tube is removed?

these may have been covered already. I was just wondering.

1. I don't know, but I think it was out for 6 days the salt time they did
this court order thing about a year or so ago.

I just have a feeling that this time, SCOTUS isn't going to touch this case, and Terri will die before they can force something else.

I hope I'm right.

2. She had her tube removed twice already, and re-inserted.
The second time for 7 days. It didn't cause problems.

3. Tube is eeeasy to put in now....
the semi-closed hole in stomach is the exact place to put the tube back in. Very easy.

4. But, she probably has had some
Organ breakdown by now, re: my RN mother. BTW, she and most of the nurses she knows think that patients like Terri should be given a painless OD of medication.

But hey! As long as gays can't marry, who cares about patients not named Terri Schiavo?

6. I'm surprised the Doctor's haven't up'd her doses of morphine.
It would be the best thing to do. After all the repukes say she is suffering.
