In case you were having doubts about Rep Harold Ford, Jr....
I saw this snake on Dumbass Miller's show yesterday, and Miller was drooling all over him saying how he's on their side, so many times, he should join the GOP, to which Ford replied with his expressionless mask of a face, "I would, but I'm too much in favor of fiscal responsibility for that"

Harold, even if the GOP balanced every damn budget, there are a thousand reasons I would NEVER join those filthy thugs! Piss off, turncoat democrats!

Do not trust this man!

1. there were many who supported
his ego driven (ego in terms of his short tenure in the house) challenge to Pelosi. Back then I was more neutral. Now, less than neutral - not a big fan. He is better than a repub - but there are many dems better than he for dem leadership.

2. obsess much?
I guess Harold Ford didn't get to put "/SARCASM/" somewhere when he was speaking on that show.

Who is "Dumbass Miller"?

3. Dennis Miller.
It was not a sarcastic remark. He acknowledged that he's with them on almost every issue, and would gladly switch if that party got its fiscal shit together.

How about saying something like "No, Dennis, I'm A DEMOCRAT, AND DAMN PROUD OF IT!"

5. Dumber than a rock
Miller tries to be so intellectual. My friend wrote Milo and Otis(the movie) and I have other friends juat as accomplished in the other intellectual fields and they never tried to impress people like this dumbshit. He is about as unfunny as anyone who has pretended to be a comic

4. I'd really like to see a transcript of that. You anti-moderate people
are generally so exaggeratory and quick to repeat falsehoods when attacking people like Ford it sickens me. He votes the liberal line over 80 percent of the time. And he's one of our best hopes at a democratic pickup in the next election.

6. The keep an eye out and let us know how he does
Then perhaps instead of taking his voting record for granted, those like you who seem to support him and other moderates should keep an eye on him. This way if you notice him leaning to the other side you can let us know.

You see I don't know the man or his politics, but let's try to avoid another Zell Miller debacle.

14. Let me see if I can spell this out for you
Ford: Votes left-liberal composite 80-85 percent of the time according to top liberal and conservative groups.

Zell Miller: Votes Right-conservative composite 45-55 percent of the time according to different liberal and conservative groups

But the facts and logic don't seem to matter to the emotionally political and reactionaries such as, at least as it appears, you.

7. I'm not anti-moderate. I'm anti repug-lite. I live in TN and I won't
support him in his bid for the senate nor will a lot of folks that I know. He made comments at a local fundraiser that he didn't think that we need to do anything about ensuring that we have a fraud-free election system. He makes pro-war statements, practically begged Hastert to bring the bankruptcy bill to the floor so that he could sign it, etc.

He will lose because people who should be supporting him won't, and the racist white folks here won't vote for him even if he has taken a repub-lite stance.

10. Well, get ready for Marsha Blackburn to be our next senator, then.
Because Corker won't make it through the fundie network.

I'm sorry - he may be a moderate, but I sure as hell am not going to support a Republican.

18. I'm in TN too
and I'm not sure about him myself. I'd rather not have anymore DINO's. If anybody has a list of what he has voted for I'd love to see it.

16. Really? Right-wing stooge Miller didn't think he votes liberal
And thanks for accusing me of lying. I quoted him as accurately as I could. Feel free to look up the transcript of last night's show if you don't believe me. (If they even bother to transcript such a flop of a show)

19. So WTF is this?
"You anti-moderate people are generally so exaggeratory and quick to repeat falsehoods when attacking people like Ford it sickens me."

It's not just an accusation, it's a blanket smear against liberals, as well as a false implication that the CONSERVATIVE democrat representative is a moderate!

11. That's what it sounds like to me, too.
He was playing Miller for the fool he is.
Ford is, simply put, a well-spoken politician. He's very political sounding.

9. I'm afraid if he is the nominee in Tennessee and wins he will
be constantly giving the Democratic leadership in the senate problems as an untrustworthy vote.

13. I think that was a rather clever jab at Miller and the Republicans
I can't say I support any politician who supported this war, but then Kerry wasn't really against it, was he?

It may be best for left wingers just so suck it up and support the guy that isn't Republican. Especially in Tenessee.

I'd still much rather have Brad Carson in the Senate instead of basket case Coburn.

15. Hey Southern Dems, CHANGE your states!!
What the hell is the guy supposed to do if the people in your state think like Republicans?

Who has contacted their local Dem Club about creating block captains to get the real news out to the people?
