You'll also notice that Sheen's mural-adorned cross doesn't portray the crucifix Christ, and has much more to do with the Golden Rule (portrayals of brotherhood and unity) than it does a fundie v. death with dignity issue.

Suffer poor Terri Schiavo to finally be allowed to go unto Christ; that is MUCH more Christ-like than anything this group in Florida is grandstanding about.

I don't ever recall seeing the photo of Sheen on the t.v. 24/7. I don't recall seeing him interviewed anywhere about why he is protesting, but maybe that is just me?

I am not even sure what he is protesting, because when I channel surfed, I don't recall coming across this of image of Sheen, nor coverage of the protest in which he participated.

I'm guessing this is a School of the Americas watch protest. But that is just a guess.

one that Sister Xavier and all of the nuns, wore on her chest over her habit, when I went to Catholic parochial school. In fact all of those photos shown here that I have seen on DU, of the crucifixion cross displaying the crucified Jesus, are Catholic symbols and are not Protestant symbols. Protestants do not display a person on their cross icons.

I just wonder what the heck is going on and how this cult is attached to the Catholic religion as well as beasts like Randall Terry.

Again, if she isn't hurting anyone or causing a risk of hurting someone (say, by being a distraction to traffic, etc.), then I see no reason to bar her from such activity.... regardless of my personal feelings about the efficacy of such activity.

Other parties more involved than you or I may certainly communicate with her if she interferes, knowingly or unknowingly, with their needs and rights.

only pointiung out that her choice to pray in a manner that draws publicity is, in fact, exactly that. And that, if prayer is the means to the end, that it can be done equally as well in private so the question is why she chooses to "pray" that way and make a fool of herself. It is a publicity stunt and hey, if you want to pray that way, looking like a jerk,, an actress, then go right ahead. It will only draw laughter or contempt in this situation, but she will "suffer" those wounds and be rewarded for her foolish display.
