After the Medicare fiasco, never thought that I would say this. GO AARP GO.
PS. used to work for AARP, back in the mid 90's, actually called C-Span with Novelli, spewing when I worked for them, they actually cared about their customers. Remember, AARP, signs 7 year contracts, maybe, if we can, invade them, and get new contractors, CEO, etc, it will be better.
I left to work on, gasp, Wall Street. They went down hill , when they decided to negotiate new contracts years later.
If anyone wants to get the AARP coalition, please contact me. It is up for grabs every 7 years, wanna guess why the GOP duped them with Medicare and now are against them?

If you are talking to me, I can give you some info., but don't know how to pm and I am going to bed.
Here is what I know. AARP contracts are a 7 year commitment. When I worked there we kissed the seniors butt, sometimes at over expenses. It is a contract that is re-new able every 7 yrs.
When I worked there, Prudential had the entire contract for 14 yrs. When the bid came up (after I was gone), must have been a Repub, the negotiation went to, US Healtcare, Hartford Group and another Insurance Group. It was weird, cause I knew people from the divestitures. They have never been the same, before, they split their clout. I think the Repubs, used their divide and conquer, and succeeded. AARP, under Prudential, really kissed the butts of seniors when I worked there, it is a shame, that the corporate ho took over.
