Niche Marketing: Same-Sex Couples Who Buy Log Cabin Homes
Talk about a specialized market - same-sex couples who want to buy log cabin homes!

The Republicans should be proud. This is capitalism - hard at work.

1. Cool....as a log home owner, I recommend them.
Not sure why one would exclusively market to same sex couples, but they are heat efficient. I live up in central Maine and handled my heating needs with 4 cord of wood and 1 tank of oil.

2. So is this who we are talking about when

3. I always wanted a log home when I lived in Idaho.
They are sooo cool and with some creative additions, you can make them practically free of city utilities, grow a lot of your own food, and enjoy the wilderness. Oh, and I'm a straight woman. DH wouldn't go for it though. I think he was afraid of being so far from the urban scene.

5. Relatively easy to build, too.
If you buy a kit. Exterior walls can go up in 3-4 days with a good crew of 4-5 people. The roof, however, takes a while. Low maintence, once you stain the logs.
