Is "The Majority Report" a good show?

I have only listened a few times, and I love Garofalo, but I have not been able to hear it in a while. I just read a good article on her, in the NYT. I hope she is doing well.

1. Personal taste.

I don't care for it. Her and Seder are the "cool kids"
with all the "in jokes." They get on my nerves.

I loved Janeane when she subbed on Crossfire. She handled
Nofacts and Tuf*cker like a pro. But when she goes off
on one of her polysyallabic rants, I just feel like she's
talking down to me -- and I understand her vocabulary
completely. "Yeah, I know you're smart, we all know you're
smart. Now talk to the regular folks and get them on our
side, will you please?"

2. One of My Favorites

Janeane and Sam are excellent, in my opinion, and I listen to them every night. They have some great guests, and Janeane's "brutal honesty" is what I appreciate the most. They're good at handling the conservative callers too.

I LOVE Garofalo -- I love to hear her rant.

4. Snooze city..

I agree about Garafolo: she defeats her purpose by attempting to be profound and/or sharply critical. The schtick doesn't work and gets tired.
