ZNet Action of the Week
One votes on a potential action and, theoretically, we all do whatever gets the most votes. Current leading action is to convince MoveOn to oppose the Iraq war.

ZNet is read by hundreds of thousands of people every week. By coordinating and organizing together, we can greatly increase our impact on society.

ZNet thus offers this Action of the Week tool as a meeting place where we can together propose, design, refine, and carry out coordinated actions.

People must register and log in to suggest or vote on action proposals or to indicate their likely participation. Each Monday morning the active proposal with the most support becomes that week's ZNet Action of the Week.

Proposed actions can range from the simple to the complex. Examples include contacting friends about some event or project, arranging for neighbors or friends to watch a radical movie together or read and discuss a radical book, or participate in a demonstration. Proposals should take into account that people in widely different geographic areas should be able to participate, thus allowing us all to benefit from the large scale of the activity.
