Sheen offered Irish study place
BBC

An Irish university has said it would be happy to offer a place to actor Martin Sheen, after he said he would be keen to study in the Republic.

The West Wing star told the Daily Mail he wanted to finish his education after he retires from acting.

"I never got my high school diploma and have always felt a need to address that," he said.

A spokeswoman for the National University of Ireland, Galway, said: "Obviously he would be most welcome."
