Did the right pay off Schiavo's parents? |
|
CNN is now showing them at organized memorial service flanked by "spiritual advisors". It makes one wonder... Prior to this event were they good pals with the christian right? They're clearly being used by the right and they don't seem to care... If my child just died I'd be pissed at the people using that death for political gain. I certainly would not be with them for the camera show memorial service.

1. Yes, Yes, Yes. I believe they did. Also, think of these parents |

as we know they knew their daughter as well as anybody could. Yet, they basically turned her into a freak type sideshow. They knew how particular she was about her appearance yet constantly sent feeds of views of her to the world.
They knew how she valued privacy and was shy yet kept her in the limelight for the world to see. Even to the point of if you donated $100.00, you could get a video of her in her deathbed.
Yes, they sold out to the right wing organizations for whatever reason.
Also, these same religious zealots who scream for life, threaten anyone who gets in their way with death. These same zealots who profess to believe in God, who in marriage, says "who gives this woman away" now in their own situation, want to take that right away from the husband.
They sold out to the right.

I wouldn't be surprised. They sold their list of people to rightwing "pro-life" groups so that's selling out. I would like to know how they got Tom DeLay and Bill Frist involved. Maybe they called up dear old Jebbie?

5. I don't believe so. At least not with money |

Attention. They are acting very much like they have Munchausen syndrome. That is they are addicted to attention derived from tradgedy. 15 years of their daughter in a quasi living state with no hope other than what they imagined. It has an effect on people.
