well . . . seems the times, they are a-changin' . . . |

while stopped at a light this afternoon, I glanced over at the car immediately ahead of me in the next lane . . . right in the middle of the rear end of the car was a very prominent, bright red bumper sticker that said, in all caps . . .
"MY SON IS A U.S. MARINE" . . .
and right next to it was one of those ubiquitous ribbons, this one black with bright yellow letters . . . it said, in all caps . . .
"BRING THEM HOME!" . . .
sure was good to see . . .

I posted on a local talk show message board that the stickers were useless, considering all the disabled and homeless Iraq vets, and I was blasted. I'm glad someone is paying attention.
