Poppy The Clown jokes about selling signed funeral program
snip>
The ex-presidents traveling to Rome for the Pope's funeral may be having more fun than the current commander in chief. George H.W. Bush was absolutely giddy yesterday over a funeral program signed by himself, his son Dubya and Bill Clinton. The elder Bush joked that he might even sell it for big bucks on eBay.

under "Side Dish"...

1. HA HA HA! That's a good one, Poppy
You unfeeling bastard. Oh well, the Pope is Catholic, so he's going to hell anyway. Serves him right, eh Poppy?

4. What the hell is it with Old George and Bill?
In Bill, does GeorgeI see what a real son could have been like? Does old George regret having mated with a genetically inferior breeding stock? Does he wonder about the time he dropped Little George on his head?

What gives with the Bill-love?

18. Yesterday someone posted a photo of
41, 43 & Clinton & 43 looked pissed. I think it burns him that 41 has spent so much time with Clinton recently. Jr. has some serious issues, as I would expect from a spoiled brat who has never had to work a day in his life or pay the consequences for any of his actions.

As for 41's comment, it was in very poor taste. If Clinton had said that Rush would be having a heyday with it for weeks.

The Bush's simply have no common decency. Everything is about them. That the country can't see that stuns me!

7. What a class act
I am so glad that Bush took his daddy instead of Carter. I mean Carter might have actually showed some class.

11. disgusting...
But making money has always made Poppy "absolutely giddy".

And Carter sat at home so this sick bastard could act "giddy" from Pope profiteering? Sick. Just sick.

13. Exactly! The RW press was all OVER Clinton for that
Bush keeps low profile at John Paul II's funeral

ROME -- President Bush, determined not to upstage the funeral of Pope John Paul II, kept an unusually low profile in Rome yesterday, although former President Bill Clinton gave a television interview watched by millions.
"He recognizes the significance of the moment," White House spokesman Scott McClellan said of Mr. Bush. "And the focus rightly should be on the Holy Father."
.....
While Mr. Bush stayed out of sight during a dinner with Mr. Berlusconi, photographers were able to watch Mr. Clinton stroll through an elaborate formal garden before the dinner at Villa Madama, a stunning hilltop estate overlooking Rome.

Everybody smiles, says nice things.

Clinton shares a happy memory at a funeral of a good friend and smiles - "HE'S EVIL AND UNCARING! LOOK AT HOW HE LAUGHED DURING A SOLEMN OCCASION!"

Yep, that damned librul media . . .
