Entrepreneurial Opportunities in a Banana Republic?
Edited on Sat Apr-09-05 06:37 PM by The Whiskey Priest
Anyone think it is time to start surveying the small business models of Paraguay? Under the current Republican leadership we should be looking up to the banana republics, like Paraguay, Uruguay, Belize and some of the lesser African states, at any moment now.

Who would have thought, that this mighty country could now stand on edge of history’s dust-bin. Oh, how the mighty have fallen, or is it he who the gods would destroy, first they drive mad?

Oh, almost forgot, I am going for the lime in the coconut.....sidewalk vending.......

1. Perhaps you should take up basket weaving???
Or become a royal watcher. That seems to be a popular occupation today.

The writing's been on the wall since Raygun's "Morning In Scamerica." Did everybody just go along for the ride and wake up ten minutes ago?

3. That was sarcasm

The writing on the wall started with Nixon and the John Birchers who are now the mainstream republicans

5. Buy a bar or a liquor store.
Recession/depression proof (no pun intended, really!)
