10. What's this new word "datapoint"?
Anybody else ever hear this word? Is this an invention to play down the importance of any one screwup in the SOTU? Forget the fact that " a chain is only as strong as its weakest link" and just ignore the importance of any flaw by calling it just a "point" or a "dot", which she also uses.

This has been pointed out by others. There has been very little reported on what sites have been checked, how many remain to be checked, etc. etc.

There's that link again - "slamming airplanes into american buildings" - Condi

Huh????

She says the world is better off with Sadam gone. Time will tell if this remains true. There are whole ranges of evil. Hitler and * on one end, Sadam sort of in the middle

17. 1998, 1998, 1998, 1998
This piece of garbage actually asked the question "does anyone believe that something could have changed in the period from 1998 to 2003?" Umm, yeah Condi. I believe that something could have changed in 5 freaking years!!!

She's not doing well, all she has is a bunch of prepared speeches and none of them are compelling. There had better be strong investigations.

20. * has "confidence" in Tenet
That's rich. So it's a "mistake"

Bush was quoted in the paper that it's time to move on. Ari was quoted as saying that much of the american people have moved on. Yup, we're moving on to impeachment/insurrection.

22. Trying to get off the hook about Iraq and 9/11 at the same time!!!
She's using the lack of WMD in Iraq to get off the hook in both Iraq and 9/11 by saying (paraphrase): "We had a LOT more dots to connect in Iraq than we did with 9/11. For 9/11 we had hardly any dots at all."

29. Like I said, she repeated her 9/11 lie.
Claiming she couldn't have known that hijackers would fly planes into the WTC and Pentagon. Hasn't that been debunked? I thought the CIA had reports of impending Al Qaeda hijackings in the Summer of '01.

40. Again, she can only make that claim if she didn't know
about Project Bojinka. And if she didn't know about Project Bojinka she should be fired.

They didn't need that many dots to figure out 9-11 because they had found the plans and they knew that the brains behind most of the al Qaeda terror attacks had written them. It wasn't just a fucking dot they had to connect, they had the whole damn enchilada that was accessable to anyone with an internet connection.

Condi lied, people died. Resign now, before you incompetence kills some more of us.

38. Exactly!
WHO insisted that this statement be used in the SOTU?
Forget that Tenet failed to properly edit the speech, as the administration as alleged; who insisted that the statement be used? This question was brought up on both Face the Nation and McGlaughlin. Condi wouldn't answer it, yet she damn sure knows the answer. From what I've heard, it looks like Uncle Dick wanted it in the speech. This question needs to be asked repeatedly!

42. And then "Why..."
And then once we find out who insisted on that statement we need to grill the hell out of them as _why_ they we're willing to embellish a story and frame Saddam? Why were they so anxious to kill Saddam? What were their alterior motives? That'll lead to some _really_ interesting information.

Were they treating the U.S. military as a subsidiary of the IDF? Were they covering for something Poppy, Chimpy, or themselves did with Saddam? Was it purely profit motive? etc.

46. That would be my guess too...
...or at least my hope. Halliburton profits+dealings with Saddam to hide+dealings from past and/or present administrations.

But I can't help being suspicious of Wolfowicz and Perle in all this. Somebody wanted him gone...and quick. They weren't willing to take "no" for an answer. Even if it meant risking everything.

who still doesn't have a clue about terrorist plans to fly airplanes into building is still HEAD of NSA.

Someone send her a clue about Project Bojinka, apparently she still hasn't heard of it. And if she doesn't know about Project Bojinka she has no business advising the president about anything, no less national security.
