Even after Time's cover story, you still don't know "the real Ann Coulter"
Here are some quotes Cloud probably didn't have in mind when he wrote of Coulter's alleged "sensitivity":

* September 23, 2004: "I'm so pleased with my gender. We're not that bright."

* Same day: "Women, though they're not as bright, don't want to die any more than men."

* From How to Talk To a Liberal (If You Must): "The real reason I loathe and detest feminists is that real feminists, the core group, the Great Thinkers of the movement, which I had until now dismissed as the invention of a frat boy on a dare, have been at the forefront in tearing down the very institutions that protect women: monogamy, marriage, chastity, and chivalry. And surveying the wreckage, the best they have to offer is: 'Call me Ms.'"

* May 5, 2004: "I think the other point that no one is making about the abuse photos is just the disproportionate number of women involved, including a girl general running the entire operation. I mean, this is lesson, you know, one million and 47 on why women shouldn't be in the military. In addition to not being able to carry even a medium-sized backpack, women are too vicious."

1. How dare she say anything discouraging about feminists.
If it weren't for feminists, she wouldn't be allowed to speak the way she does.

3. The real Ann Coulter...
is a man. That is why "she" talks that way. And if it turns out, which would be cruel, that she really is a woman then she is more than welcome to stop what she is doing and perform the role of a Laura Bush type.

4. Her "arguments" are so stupid, it's no fun to even poke holes in them.
I mean, they're all hole.

Feminists have torn down monogamy? Huh? Howso? And how does monogamy protect women? Etc.

Just because she's none too bright, she shouldn't assume all women are dummies.

5. now that my friends is a great new chickenhawk philosophy
Ann doesn't want to serve in a war she supports because she opposes women in the military.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any more ironic.

6. Ann Coulter, 'GOP Man Wearing Dress' Mascot
Leave the guy alone. His therapy (of his saying whatever) is our punishment (of having to be told by MSM he has something to say).

Listening to Ann Coulter is the same as when a small child speaks dirty words to try to get attention.

The joke is on us because 'who is telling us Ann Coulter has anything to say?' Answer, a prostitute media that no one listens to in the first place.

KlatooBNikto said it best - "Ignoring the obvious and not asking questions that will embarrass the powerful." This is Time Magazines motto.

7. Why isn't she/he married with children?
Edited on Mon Apr-18-05 04:43 PM by kskiska
hi midori :hi:

Why doesn't she/he have the courage of her convictions? She should be living in a very red state with a domineering husband and a bunch of kids — not in Manhattan, smoking cigarettes, hanging out in wine bars, and leading a very unchaste single life.

10. Just a self-hating person, ending up a parody of the "man" she wants to be
Not that there is anything wrong with emulating "manly" traits, but she seems stuck in a fifth graders notion of a tough guy--insulting, mean, and refusing to accept reality as opposed to assertive and confident.

they have lost my complete respect. If you're going to do a story on a conservative, why not someone who is credible? Why Ann Coulter? It just seems like a slap in the face. Edited to add: before anyone slams me, why not do an editorial on a more right-wing journalist who doesn't do it for shock value? Then again, who would there be? heheh...

We'll see what they say.

18. She's not stupid, she just read that pamphlet which says
that a person will believe anything you say as long as you follow it by "because". The purported reason does not have to be a reason in order to induce some level of belief on the theory. And the theory does work, since most people don't know how to tell a valid argument from a cement mixer. (If you didn't laugh... well then QED)

As to the reason why she says the things she says and attempts to manipulate people in the way she does, I can only guess that it's because she's deranged.

This theory would ALSO explain why she dresses the way she does.

I admit, however, that it lacks the power to explain fully her skankiness. Her skankiness would only be explained in PART.

So the theory does have some holes.

19. She hates herself, & is taking it out on everyone else.
She's one big desperate bid for attention to assuage the self-loathing.

Just my 2 cents.

You actually read the time table articles. They are a telling picture which speaks volumes. She has quite the number of biography fan books.
