Whats the problem with using them to stop aids and unwanted pregnancies?

4. Not quite true...

As a priest explained it to me once, lustful sex between husband and wife, even if kinky, is perfectly fine as long as nothing gets in the way of the possibility of conception. Conception does not need to be the goal, and in fact you can monitor ovulation and etc to avoid times when you might be more fertile without sin.

The Roman Catholic Church promotes "the rhythm method" (having sex at certain times of the month as a contraceptive). But it's against anything that gets in the way of so-called "natural" sex. That includes all means of artificial contraceptive, plus any form of sex other than intercourse (i.e. no oral, etc.)
