On the news at 5:00 Eastern, the tobacco spitter. |
|
If you have Directv CBS2 (New York station) or if you have CBS on your local cable in the New York area, it might be worth tuning in.
The guy who spit tobacco juice in Jane Fonda's face is going to be interviewed on the 5:00 news. (5:00 eastern, 4:00 Central).

2. That incident happened here in Kansas City...... |
|
The local station that I watch had a brief interview with the spitter, but, to my knowledge, the reporter never verified that he was in fact a Viet Nam Vet! Talk about your shoddy journalism!

|
I want to be the guy doing that interview.
I will ask a couple of questions with my mouth obvisouly full of something.
Me: Do you think people should be prosecuted for spitting on other people?
Him: Blah blah blah...No
Me: Great ... (spit on him)

4. Do they make a habit of interviewing petty criminals? |
|
Why should this guy get an interview? Handcuffs and a trip to the slammer are all he deserves.

5. This man should be condemned... |
|
But so should the guys who throw pies and act equally bad on our side.
We should all stop encouraging bad behavior. It makes everyone look kind of sad and foolish.

Kangaroo as well. But the spraying of bodily fluids upon those one disagrees with starts us down a slippery slope...

7. What earns this guy a sound bite? How could he have anything |
|
worthwhile to say? Doesn't all this attention just encourage other crude SOBs to assault people whose politics they don't like?
This wasn't just a pie or a symbolic gesture. Spitting is like slapping, and potentially far worse from a health standpoint.
If there are copycats, the MSM hacks who are playing this up are acting as accessories, before and after the fact.

9. Heard that guy on the radio here in KC this morning going to work, |
|
he is a complete idiot. He was saying he had Agent Orange from the war blaming this on her when he should have been blaming the gov.
Saying her protesting and going to Hanoi was more or less the cause of the losing the war. Don't quite think Jane had that much power or influence.
Just another right wing idiot.
If they wanted to go back and look at all the things Bush did during his youth, what would they find.
I have more respect for her going over there; maybe it could have been done better but don't think it really made that much difference. Where did Bush go and what did he do during the war?

11. Exactly. If he is an Agent-Orange case, then his beef is with the gov't!!! |
|
Not with Ms. Fonda. And this is *exactly* why the usual bozos (Hannity, Ollie North, et al) keep harping on Jane Fonda, **33** years after her lousy judgement -- keep up the spin, shift the attention to the easy target, protect the right wing. :grr:
Dumb, dumb, dumb. :nuke:

10. He's the new Phil Parlock ("you tore my sign and made my kid cry") |
|
And like Parlock, I'll just bet that this guy was looking for -- hoping for -- a confrontation, so he'd have a forum for his schtick. Which he now does.
I wish that "journalists" (hah!) would delve a bit into this guy's past and find out: where and when he served; if he did in fact do a tour in Nam; if he has any contacts who can corroborate his far-out tale about people being "lined up" to spit on him at LAX some 30-35 years ago, and why that incident wasn't documented in the news, or police reports, or with airport security.
My gut tells me that this guy is big-time phony.
