Is anyone here listening to AAR and Springer right now? I'm not sure what |
|
to think right now. "Love Connection". The reason we have so many red states is because all the conservatives don't practive birth control so we need for more liberals to get together and commit to having kids.
Is this a joke?
Does Springer really believe what he is saying? WTF?
I must confess, if it is just for fun and laughs, I'm not amused. Maybe I've lost my sense of humor.
Help me out here fellow DU'ers.

He uses that now and then.
Did you hear him talking about the energy bill earlier? That was serious. And very good, I must say.

4. I've heard others with this kind of theory... |
|
and I'm pretty sure they weren't serious about it, so I'm hoping this is a joke as well.
I'm waiting for them to put on the staunch right-wing repub, they had that one but not as extreme as I was thinking.

5. Give me a break. It's Friday, for crying out loud. |

Am I supposed to be shaking with righteous anger every day? This is a fun show, and God bless Jerry for doing it. This has been a horrible week.

6. I shut it down and went to the Randi Rhodes archives. After a Republican |
|
came on, called himself fiscally conservative, voted for Bush and didn't regret it. How can someone be THAT uninformed? Jerry said he was liking this guy...I don't think the woman "date" went along with it. We really don't need this shit.

I am really enjoying this. I get tired of the same old rants all the time. This is refreshing and funny. I'd like to see more fun stuff like this on liberal radio.

8. What happened to the first guy who talked to the first woman? |
|
Put him on hold, from Long Island than poof...he was gone. I liked him better than the guy who hooked up with her!
I agree...I would NEVER watch his show...but this is very entertaining!

Yeah, I was thinking...hey, I want to meet this guy! Especially if he was a Dem.
Pretty funny. I'll have to listen again.
Edited to add: His show was not for me, either. But this is better.

10. Thanks all for responding. The general consensus seems to be |
|
it's just for fun, it's Friday, and it's entertaining.
I listened to more and I'm not entertained, I am just reminded of his TV SHOW! (And to the poster above, I'm not wanting to be angry all the time).

I must be the exception, because while I find Springer to be intelligent, articulate and generally progressive in his views, I find his radio show to be intensely:
BORING!
I can no longer listen. It is so damned repetitive with his repeated monologues on the same issue.
